HNMMC held the Campus Competition of College Students’ “Internet+” Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition 2023 with great fanfare on the afternoon of June 20th at the College Students’ Innovation and Entrepreneurship Incubation Base. The competition invited five experts from universities and industries to serve as judges, and nearly 100 contestants and instructors participated in the competition.
A total of 1,982 projects registered for this competition, with 7,527 student participants. After the preliminary rounds at the secondary schools and online evaluations by external experts, 18 project teams entered the campus competition.
The scene of the competition was spectacular. Each team had prepared for months and presented their projects by discussing market research, advantages, operation models, project development status and effectiveness, as well as future development plans. The participants showed great enthusiasm and wholeheartedly engaged, fully demonstrating the characteristics of innovation and entrepreneurship and their teamwork ability. The judges rigorously evaluated the roadshows and project plans of the participating teams according to the evaluation criteria and provided improvement suggestions. Finally, the competition selected various awards for the campus competition and provided the ranking order for recommending teams to the provincial competition. Two projects represented by "Beauty of Desired Dwelling" from the School of Management received the first prize in the "Internet+ Vocational Education" track. The project "The Breeze of Nuo Dance Filling My Heart with Joy" from the School of Visual Art received the first prize in the "Internet+ Red Tour" track.
Xiao Ming, an expert reviewer and a judge of national competition from the China Vocational Education Association, on behalf of the panel of judges, spoke highly of the innovation and entrepreneurship projects participating in this competition. He suggested that the participants strengthen the analysis and utilization of big data, refine their projects solidly, focus on the business logic of the projects, and also consider their market value. He pointed out that college students are full of courage and determination to be pioneers and break through. As a new force in innovation and entrepreneurship, college students should aim at tackling "bottleneck" problems and leave their marks on the path of innovation and entrepreneurship.
The responsibility of the era lies with the youth, and the glory of the era belongs to the youth. On the broad stage of the new era, more exciting stories of youth await to be written. The College Students’ ‘Internet+’ Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition has become an important carrier and key platform for deepening the reform of innovation and entrepreneurship education in China. HNMMC takes the college students’ innovation and entrepreneurship competition as an important lever to deepen the reform of innovation and entrepreneurship education, promoting teaching, improvement, learning, and innovation through the competition. It expands new thinking, demonstrates a new image, and fosters an environment for mass entrepreneurship and innovation, providing a broad stage for the growth and development of college students. This competition has achieved complete success, providing a platform for students' entrepreneurship and innovation, showcasing the achievements of HNMMC’s innovation and entrepreneurship education, further stimulating the enthusiasm of our students for innovation and entrepreneurship, and promoting the cultivation of innovative and entrepreneurial talents.
