Recently, the campus selection of the 15th National Advertising Art Design Competition for College Students and the 14th Hunan Provincial Advertising Art Design Competition for College Students was held at the School of Visual Art. Expert judges from brother universities such as Central South University, Hunan Normal University, Changsha University, and Changsha Normal University selected 200 works from 471 submissions to participate in the provincial competition.
In this campus competition, the works submitted by the secondary schools covered 13 categories, including 84 print advertisements, 82 video advertisements and copywriting slogans, 61 video microfilm advertisements, and 55 radio advertisements, making it the largest-scale competition of HNMMC in recent years. Vice President Shen Jianfei pointed out in his summary of the campus competition that HNMMC has been adhering to the principles of promoting teaching, learning, improvement, and research through competitions for many years. The quantity and quality of the works in this competition have demonstrated the excellent professional skills and high spirits of our faculty and students.
It is reported that the National Advertising Art Design Competition for College Students is a national competition in the field of liberal arts sponsored by the China Association of Higher Education and the Teaching Steering Committee for Journalism and Communication Programs of Higher Education Institutions under the Ministry of Education. Since its establishment in 2005, the competition has been successfully held for 14 sessions and serves as a platform for practical teaching competitions for college students in 31 provinces, autonomous regions, and municipalities across the country. Its goal is to promote educational reforms, inspire wisdom, enhance abilities, improve quality, and foster well-rounded individuals.
