From June 15th to 17th, Vice Director Luo Qi, Dean of Digital Publishing major Dong Juanjuan, and Counselor Lu Ping from the School of Journalism and Communication of HHMMC conducted the first phase of the school's plan to explore the job market. They visited Shenzhen Kukan Culture Communication Co., Ltd. (Kukan Culture) and RWS to seek opportunities for collaboration and job placements.

On June 16th, the research team held discussions with the person in charge of Kukan Culture regarding further cooperation between the school and the company, the current employment status of our graduates, the job demands for graduates, and future directions for collaboration. Kukan Culture is currently the largest company in China that provides professional content export services. It collaborates with enterprises such as Youku, Tencent, and Mango TV in the field of "cultural export." Over the past three years, Kukan Culture has employed 20 of our graduates in various fields including radio and television program production, news gathering, editing and production, digital publishing, and film and television directing, and has expressed high satisfaction with our graduates. Kukan Culture stated that it will continue to offer internships and employment opportunities to our graduates and collaborate with our college on diverse internship and training programs.

In the afternoon of June 16th, the research team visited RWS, a software technology company primarily engaged in language services. RWS serves Fortune 500 companies and is a globally renowned technology-driven provider of language, content management, and intellectual property services.

Both parties discussed cooperation areas, graduate employment, and future collaborations. RWS expressed its intention to continue accepting students majoring in digital publishing for internships and employment, and to deepen the school-enterprise cooperation.

Liu Xiaohua, the Secretary of CPC General Branch in the School of Journalism and Communication, emphasized that in expanding job opportunities through enterprise visits, it is essential to consider the new characteristics and circumstances of the media industry, leverage the relevant majors offered by the school, explore industry potential, expand available resources, and maximize the media industry's absorption of media talents. The School of Journalism and Communication will continue to plan and conduct future enterprise visits, explore new forms of school-enterprise cooperation, cultivate highlights in employment work, build a brand in the job market, and provide smooth employment opportunities for students.
