On June 6th, a signing ceremony for the "College-Hospital Collaboration Agreement" and an unveiling ceremony for the jointly established base were held in the Academic Lecture Hall of the library by HNMMC and the Second People's Hospital of Hunan Province (SPHH). Xie Jingwei, Deputy Secretary of the CPC HNMMC Committee, and Zhu Dan, member of the CPC HNMMC Committee and Vice President, Zhou Shaoming, President, and Chen Yong, Deputy Secretary of the CPC Committee of SPHH, attended the event.
The ceremony officially began at 3 p.m. Zhu Dan and Chen Yong, representing Hunan Mass Media Vocational and Technical College and the Second People's Hospital of Hunan Province respectively, signed the "College-Hospital Collaboration Agreement."
Subsequently, the unveiling ceremony for the jointly established psychological health education base for college students through hospital-college integration took place, with Xie Jingwei and Zhou Shaoming jointly unveiling the base.
In his speech, Zhou Shaoming expressed that psychological health, as an important component of overall health, is the foundation and prerequisite for college students' personal development, family harmony, and national construction. Promoting the health of college students not only concerns their personal future and family happiness but also relates to social stability and national development. The Second People's Hospital of Hunan Province (Brain Hospital of Hunan Province) attaches great importance to the psychological health issues of college students and has actively cooperated with higher education institutions. This jointly established base will fully leverage the hospital's advantages in the field of psychological health disciplines and clinical resources to provide students with more professional and personalized psychological health services.
Xie Jingwei expressed gratitude to the Second People's Hospital of Hunan Province on behalf of HNMMC and introduced the overall situation of our college's educational characteristics, achievements, and the work of psychological health education. Xie Jingwei pointed out that this collaboration has opened up a new era of collaborative development between the college and psychiatric institutions, enhancing the college’s confidence and capability to provide psychological health support to teachers, students, and staff. In the future, the college will seize the opportunity presented by the establishment of the college-hospital collaboration and the opening of the "Psychological Health Green Channel" to strive for a more comprehensive student psychological health work system. This system will integrate health education, monitoring and early warning, counseling services, and intervention and disposal. The aim is to improve coordination and cooperation among the college, families, society, and relevant departments in the field of students’ psychological health work. It is hoped that both the college and the hospital can achieve resource sharing, leverage complementary advantages, engage in win-win cooperation, foster mutual development, and establish a long-lasting friendship through their collaboration.
