On June 1st, HNMMC held the grand graduation ceremony for the Class of 2023 in the Academic Lecture Hall. College leaders Li Sanfu, He Zhanbing, Xu Jingxue, Lei Junlin, Zhu Dan, and Yang Jinhui attended the ceremony, along with heads of functional departments, directors of all secondary schools, secretaries of CPC general branches, teacher representatives, and 300 graduate representatives. The ceremony was hosted by Zhu Dan, Member of CPC HNMMC Committee and Vice President.
At 10 a.m., the graduation ceremony commenced with the majestic national anthem playing at 10 a.m.
Member of CPC HNMMC Committee and Vice President Xu Jingxue read out the list of recipients for the National Scholarship, and the honorary titles of Provincial-level Outstanding Graduate and College-level Outstanding Graduate. The college leaders presented the honorary certificates and prizes to the winning graduate representatives.
Subsequently, the young lecturers from the college's media team recited a warm and touching poem titled "Chasing Dreams and Embracing Youth" to bid farewell to the graduating seniors.
"Looking back on the journey we have traveled, though it may not have been smooth sailing, through our efforts and dedication, we have achieved personal growth and transformation," expressed Guo Anqi, a student representative of the graduating class and recipient of the National Scholarship from the Broadcasting and Hosting Class of 2001. With deep emotion, she recalled the precious moments during her three years at college, and expressed gratitude to the teachers, the alma mater, and the motherland.
Representing the teachers, Wang Hui from the School of Management delivered a speech, reminiscing about the unforgettable moments shared with the students over the past three years. She encouraged the students to continue their efforts in learning, maintain an optimistic mindset, and embark on their future path. Following Wang Hui's speech, the entire audience applauded warmly, expressing appreciation for the teachers' diligent efforts in guiding and enlightening the students.
Deputy Secretary of CPC HNMMC Committee and President He Zhanbing delivered a speech, praising the performance of the Class of 2023 and urging the graduates to always remember the college motto of "Creativity Lights up Your Life." He encouraged them to become ambassadors of positive energy, showcasing their youthful charm on the land of their motherland. President He offered three pieces of advice to the students: first, cultivate noble character and uphold their ideals and beliefs; second, foster an innovative spirit and become pioneers in their industries; third, develop a pragmatic work ethic and become practical individuals. Between the lines, President He's speech was filled with earnest guidance and encouragement for the students, marking it as a heartfelt "final lesson" during their time at the college.
Li Sanfu, the Secretary of CPC HNMMC Committee, personally presented the graduation certificates to the graduate representatives of the Class of 2023, bringing the ceremony to its climax and marking a perfect conclusion to their college journey. Secretary Li's solemn gesture of personally awarding the certificates expressed his ardent hope for the graduates. He encouraged the students to remember this moment, carry the blessings of their alma mater into the new chapter of their lives, uphold lofty ideals, and embrace the future with determination.
At the end of the ceremony, all the leaders and teachers stood up, applauding as they watched the graduates leave the venue. The graduation ceremony concluded successfully with the melody of the anthem, "We are in the Prime of Our Youth."
