In order to implement the "Work Requirements to Promote the Education Digitalization by the Education Department of Hunan Province in 2023", strengthen network security technology exchanges, and further improve the level of information network security in colleges and universities in the province, on the morning of March 11, the 2023 Hunan Network Security Technology Guarantee Seminar for universities and colleges held by Hunan Education Network Association and undertaken by HNMMC, was successfully held in the college.
Li Sanfu, Secretary of the Party Committee of HNMMC, professor Wang Jian, a specially invited expert, Shi Ronghua, Chairman of Hunan Education Network Association, and Liao Shuxiang, Section chief of the Network Technology Detachment of Changsha Public Security Bureau, Xu Anming, Director of the Technology (Planning) Department of Information Center of Education Department of Hunan Province, and the heads of school informatization from 39 undergraduate and higher vocational member units, including Central South University, Hunan University, Hunan Normal University, Xiangtan University, Hengyang Normal University, Changsha Social Work College, Hunan Industry Polytechnic, Changde Vocational Technical College, attended the meeting. Liu Zhiyong and Zhang Zhiyong, Vice Presidents of the association, jointly chaired the seminar.
At the meeting, Li Sanfu delivered a speech to express a warm welcome to the guests, and thank the Hunan Education Network Association for its guidance and support to the informatization construction of the college. He introduced the history and the achievements of HNMMC, especially on the informatization construction, and said that we would vigorously promote the informatization construction and build the college into an advanced digital school.
Shi Ronghua, on behalf of the Hunan Education Network Association, pointed out that network security is of great significance in promoting educational informatization, and called for strengthening the exchange of network security technology between schools and enterprises.
Liao Shuxiang delivered a speech on behalf of the ChangSha Public Security Bureau. He introduced the work tasks, main responsibilities and current major situation of network security of ChangSha Public Security Bureau, and emphasized the necessity to regulate, utilize and store data in a good manner.
Xu Anming, Director of the Technology (Planning) Department of the Information Center of the Education Department of Hunan province, gave a special lecture entitled "Ideas for Cybersecurity Technical Guarantee of the Education System". After analyzing the main cybersecurity problems in the field of education, he indicated that in 2023, the education field should focus on establishing a cybersecurity pre-warning and monitoring mechanism, and other four cybersecurity works.
Specially invited expert Wang Jian, former Deputy Director of the Education Department of Hunan Province, gave a topical lecture on network security. From the aspects of network security, information security and data asset, he pointed out that China now urgently lacks network security technical talents urgently at present, put forward the idea of cultivating network security talents, and required that privacy information must be protected while conducting information sharing. He also encouraged universities and colleges to carry out network security technology exchanges and blockchain research.
Xu Haibin, Director of the Graphic Information Center of the college, introduced the main practices in the field of network security from the aspects of establishing rules and regulations, team building, improving facilities, carrying out inspections, and introducing services. Chen Guo, Deputy Director of the Office of Informatization of Hunan University, shared his experience in DNS security issues and protection measures under the existing Internet architecture. Li Lin, Deputy Director of the Modern Education Technology Center of Hunan University of Technology and Business, shared their experience in ensuring unified control and operation and maintenance of external content publishing services through the website group content publishing platform. Lei Junhuan, Director of the Library and Information Center of Changsha Social Work College, introduced the specific practices of their network security work from the aspects of network security team, integrated network security system, and intelligent closed-loop security operation and maintenance center construction. Xie Zhihui, Director of the Library Information Center of Changsha Aeronautic Polytechnic, introduced some of the school's practices in network security as a military college. Long Zuqiang, Director of the Information and Network Center of Hengyang Normal University, analyzed the necessary conditions for doing a good job in network security from three aspects: the great attention of school leaders, sufficient human and financial resources investment, and the stepwise promotion of system planning. Deng Tingbo, secretary-general of Hunan Cyberspace Security Association and Head of Hunan Jindun Information Security Graded Protection Assessment Center, introduced the successful experience of Hunan Cyberspace Security Association in promoting network security, and said that he would accelerate the linkage between the two associations, making greater contributions to the development of Hunan digital economy.
WebRay Security, Ruijie Networks, and Yingju Information, as enterprise member units, conducted technical exchanges from the aspects of penetration case analysis and security protection, 5G campus network security access plan, and the network security construction ideas for universities and colleges.
