In the campus after rain, the spring breeze blows willows and peach and plum bloom. At 5 p.m. on March 12, as the last candidate walked out of the examination room quickly, the exclusive recruit examination for the first-choice candidates of HNMMC in 2023 completed successfully.
The two- day exclusive recruit examination was divided into the cultural quality test and the vocational skills test, which set up a total of five examinations. Nearly 4,000 candidates from the province took the exam. The enrollment covered 34 specialties, including News Edit and Production, Advertisement Design and Production, Digital Media Application Technology, Broadcasting and Hosting, Communication and Planning, Leisure services and Management, etc., and planned to enroll 2,000 students, including 1,965 in the general category, 15 in the separate plan for veterans, and 20 in the separate plan for Sports students.
According to witnesses at the scene, there were crowds inside and outside the campus. Candidates lined up calmly with smiles to enter the examination room, while parents outside the venue were looking forward to it with great expectations. The relevant departments of the examination worked together to ensure the smooth progress of the exam. More than 300 teachers and student volunteers gave up holidays to actively participate in the examination work, and their thoughtful, enthusiastic and rigorous work was affirmed by all the candidates and parents.
The college leaders attached great importance to the work of this examination, and established a leading group for the 2023 exclusive recruitment work, with Party Secretary Li Sanfu and President He Zhanbing as the team leaders, and the vice presidents in charge of relevant departments as the deputy team leaders, to arrange layers of checks and careful planning. The college has formulated a thorough and detailed work plan and held a special meeting on the enrollment work, in order to efficiently implement all work meticulously in examination registration, qualification review, examination organization, logistics support, medical rescue and other links. Great efforts have been made to create a safe, healthy, fair, comfortable and pleasant examination environment for candidates.
During the examination, the relevant leaders of Hunan Provincial Education Examinations Authority came to the college to conduct a thorough inspection and check the progress of the examination. All college leaders at school went deep into the front line of organizing examinations, commanded and inspected on the spot to guide the recruitment work. In view of the easy occurrence of epidemics in Spring, the relevant departments have formulated epidemic prevention and control and Spring epidemic prevention work projects during the examination, and did a solid work on the epidemic prevention and disinfection and ventilation on campus in advance. All examiners and candidates had temperature checked before entering the campus. Separate isolation examination rooms were set up for candidates with abnormal body temperature and positive nucleic acid antigen test.
“This year's exclusive recruitment examination is different from that previous years, canceling the interview link, and using the college's new media to release information in a timely manner and remind candidates of precautions. Through more rational applications filling, more objective recruitment, stricter examination discipline, stronger supervision and inspection, the quality of candidates will be higher”, the person in charge of the Admission and Employment Guidance Division said. After the examination, the college would conduct follow-up work such as examination paper evaluation, score verification, and admission in accordance with relevant regulations, and the examination results, enrollment mark and proposed admission list would be announced the first time on the college’s enrollment information network.
