Recently, the 2023 "Chuyi Cup" Hunan Vocational College Skills Competition concluded, in which the teachers and students of the School of Visual Arts won a total of 1 first prize, 4 second prizes, and 3 third prizes.
Wen Jingzi and Chen Xiwen led the team to win the first prize of the floriculture event, and now are preparing intensively for the national competition. Qi Xiaoying and Chen Xiwen led the team to win 2 second prizes in the architectural decoration technology event. Xiao Hui and Liu Ya led the team to win the second prize of the clothing event. Zhao Xujing, Li Jiangning and Chen Xiwen led the team to win a second prize and a third prize in the architectural drawing event. Guo Zhelan and Chen Jingbo led the team to win the third prize of the horticulture event. Wen Jingzi and Chen Xiwen led another team to win a third prize of the floriculture event.
In the competition, the contestants competed on the same stage, exchanged and learned from each other, demonstrating their superb technical skills and excellent professional qualities. Meanwhile, through the competition and communication with peer colleges, the participating teams acquired more creative inspiration by learning from their strong points to make up our weakness. The competition has greatly improved the students' hands-on and practical ability, and enhanced their competitive level, psychological quality, on-the-spot adaptability and competitiveness in the future workplace.
The School of Visual Art will take this as an opportunity to promote teaching and reform through competition, actively prepare for the national competition, transform the results of the competition into practical actions of the "three educations" reform at a fast pace, contributing to more landmark achievements to the construction of the high-level characteristic college.
