On March 3, Vice President Shen Jianfei, led the directors of the Academic Affairs Division, the School of Film and Television Art and the relevant staff of the language base of HNMMC to the College of Chinese Language and Literature of Hunan University for study and research. Luo Zongyu, the Director of the Chinese Language and Literature College of Hunan University, Xiang Tiesheng, the Deputy Secretary of the Party committee of the Chinese Language and Literature College of Hunan University, and the person in charge of the National Chinese Language Promotion Base of Hunan University attended the research meeting.
At the research meeting, the two sides fully communicated on the declaration of national spoken and written Chinese Language Base, base operation management, characteristic achievements, and future planning. After the meeting, Shen Jianfei and his entourage visited the National Chinese Language Base of Hunan University to learn from the relevant teaching and scientific research achievements.
Over the years, relied on the Base for International Promotion of Chinese Language and Culture and "Chinese Bridge" brand set up by Center for Language Education and Cooperation, our college has made great achievements in the promotion of the national standard Chinese language and has exerted a significant influence domestically and internationally. In 2022, HNMMC was approved as one of the first batch of provincial-level language promotion bases in Hunan Province. In February 2023, the School of Film and Television Art won the title of "Advanced Collective for the Promotion and Popularization of the National Standard Chinese Language". At present, the college is actively working on the application of the third batch of national language promotion bases.
