Recently, 195 students from our college graced the stage of the 2024 CCTV Spring Festival Gala in Changsha, capturing global attention with their artistic flair as media students.
HNMMC placed great emphasis on this performance, with the CPC Committee meeting several times to discuss and establish a special task force for the Spring Festival Gala, coordinating all aspects of the performance. Various departments worked closely together, actively coordinating with the Propaganda Department of Changsha Municipal CPC Committee and the CCTV Spring Festival Gala directing team, to ensure the smooth completion of rehearsals and live broadcasts. The leading teachers and participating students bravely gave up their winter vacation rest and the chance to reunite with their families. Over a grueling 33-day rehearsal period, they overcame challenges such as intensive rehearsal schedules, long recording times, and adverse weather conditions. With their unyielding professionalism and superior skill levels, they presented a spectacular cultural feast to the audience.
It is reported that all 195 students participating in the CCTV Spring Festival Gala performance came from the School of Film and Television Art. Among them, 155 students participated in the main stage performances at the Changsha venue, including "All Realized" and "When You Were Young", while 40 students took part in the Changsha venue's special New Year program "New Year’s Spring Encounters in the Star City", performing in large-scale dances such as "Xiaoxiang Echoes" and "Under Mount Yuelu".
These performances not only showed the spirit and professional level of our students but also presented the educational standards of our college to global audience, enhancing the college's reputation and influence. The college will continue to improve the quality of education and teaching, providing students with more and broader practical opportunities and developmental space, and cultivating more outstanding talents for society.
