Recently, the results of the 12th Huiwen Cup National Business Secretary Vocational Skills Competition were announced, and two teams formed by the Modern Secretarial major from our School of International Communication won the third prize.
The competition was sponsored by China Shippers’ Association, co-organized by Foreign Trade and Economic Cooperation Test Centre, and organized by National Expert Committee of Business Secretarial and Administrative Assistants and Jinling Institute of Technology. A total of 155 teams from 83 colleges and universities in 23 provinces, municipalities and autonomous regions participated in the competition online. Two teachers, Lei Zhenhua and Zeng Xueqing from the School of International Communication, led two groups of students, Lin Xiaozhen, Tian Biying, Liu Liang and Xie Fangfang from the Class of 2020 and Zhou Junjie, Duan Huiyan, Chen Jingling and Chen Jiawen from the Class of 2021, to participate in the competition. Finally, they both won the third prize, which fully reflected the good professional skills and spirit of students and teachers in HNMMC.
It is reported that the competition has three events: comprehensive secretarial affairs processing, secretarial work situational presentation and realistic secretarial work processing, covering the core vocational skills of secretarial professional document handling, meeting organization, meeting and office automation operation.
