On November 30, the final of the 2022 Hunan Huang Yanpei Entrepreneurial Planning Competition for Vocational Education Award, sponsored by Hunan Education Department and the United Front Work Department of the CPC Hunan Provincial Committee and organized by Hunan Chinese Vocational Education Society, came to an end. The project of "The leader of modern house renovation with the help of millennium rammed earth craft", which was supervised by teachers Zhu Zhou and Liao Yanqiong from the School of Management of HNMMC and composed of 5 students including Ou Xinsheng, Ou Yingzhi, Yang Yu, Kang Huiyun and Xie Yuxin. The team worked hard and fought bravely to win the first prize among many projects and will represent Hunan province to participate in the 6th National Chinese Vocational Education Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition. This is a major breakthrough for our college in this event, as it won the gold medal in the provincial competition for the first time and was qualified to enter the national competition for the first time. Meanwhile, the team of "Air Show", which was supervised by teachers Wu Shenghui and Li Canhui with the School of New Media Technology and composed of students Xu Hao, He Dao and Gu Weibin, won the second prize in the special match of the 2022 Entrepreneurial Planning Competition for Vocational Education Award.
The competition aims to help students raise entrepreneurial awareness, learn entrepreneurial skills, refine entrepreneurial spirit and carry out entrepreneurial practice, enabling young entrepreneurs to actively participate in the tide of entrepreneurship, accelerating the development of innovation and entrepreneurship education and vocational education. Since the event started in early June, vocational colleges in the province have participated with full enthusiasm. HNMMC organized the competitions among secondary schools and college-level competition, and has selected 5+2 excellent projects to participate in the competition of 342 projects in the senior vocational group in Hunan province. Finally, three project teams advanced to the final round, which was held online, and HNMMC won three first prize out of four in total, winning the gold medal.
In recent years, HNMMC has been actively practicing the strategy of " widespread entrepreneurship and innovation", continuously promoting education and training through competitions, effectively boosting innovation and entrepreneurship work, and innovatively implementing the "1234" innovation and entrepreneurship work system according to its own features. That is: centering on one focus- to enhance students' innovation consciousness and the innovation and entrepreneurship ability; emphasizing two goals- to cultivate innovation and entrepreneurship talents and foster innovation and entrepreneurship projects; implementing three stages of progression- focus on the cultivation of innovative concept and innovative thinking training for the first grade, the cultivation of innovative and entrepreneurial ability for the second grade, and incubation of innovative and entrepreneurial projects for the third grade, so as to realize the three-year continuous line of innovative and entrepreneurial education. The college has also provided four supports on funding, venue, site and policy, to build an "innovation and entrepreneurship dream factory" for seeking, building and fulfilling dreams. The innovation and entrepreneurship activities are carried out frequently, making the integration of specialization and innovation increasingly profound, and the atmosphere of innovation and entrepreneurship more and more dense.
