On the evening of September 27, the "Chinese Classical Recitation Contest for Welcoming the 20th National Congress of the CPC" hosted by the School of Film and Television Arts was grandly held in the Star Theater of the Art Building of HNMMC. Wang Peng, the second level inspector of the Department of Culture and Tourism of Hunan Province, Feng Chuanshu, the Director of the Hunan Language Training and Testing Center, Su Xuan, the former Deputy Director of the Foreign Publicity Office of the Publicity Department of the Hunan Provincial Party Committee and the Director of the Hunan International Cultural Exchange Center, Li Sanfu, the Secretary of the Party Committee of HNMMC, Cheng Guizhen, the Secretary of the Discipline Inspection Commission of HNMMC, Vice President Xu Jingxue and Xie Jingwei attended the event.
The college has started to prepare the competition since the first half of this year and held trials and semi-finals after the beginning of school in early September, and finally nine outstanding works were selected to participate in the finals. At the scene of the final, the contestants were well prepared, and the competition was tense but orderly and brilliant with hundreds of high lights. The ancient and modern classics and Chinese spirit were well interpreted by reading and reciting, which won the unanimous praise of the guests and leaders present.
After fierce competition, the judges selected four works to represent the college in Hunan Provincial "Reciting China" Classical Reciting Contest: Dream of Red Boat Flying, Chuanjiang Chant, Shining Light of Youth and Reed in Caiputai.
This competition was hosted by HNMMC and undertaken by the School of Film and Television Arts, Master Li Bing Studio, and Media Etiquette Studio, and co-organized by Changsha Xiandu Culture Media Co., Ltd. and Hunan Yuzhixuan Culture Media Co., Ltd.
