On July 22, the Teaching Ability Competition of the 2022 "Chu Yi Cup" Hunan Provincial Professional Ability Competition for Vocational Teachers came to an end. The college’s teachers won five first prizes, five second prizes, and one third prize, among them four teams ranked first in the first prizes.
In early April, the college started the school-level preliminary competition. Under the meticulous organization of the college, teachers were enthusiastic about participating in the competition. More than 110 teachers formed 29 teams participated in the competition. Among them, the directors of three secondary schools personally took the lead. After online review and on-site competition, the college selected the best and recommended 11 works to participate in the provincial online review. After nearly four months of polishing and improving, all 11 works won awards, 7 of which entered the provincial on-site competition. The college had the highest number of finalists among higher vocational colleges in the province, achieving the best results in history. In the on-site competition from July 20 to 22, a total of 197 teams from secondary and higher vocational colleges in the province competed on the same field. The college’s teachers were not afraid of strong opponents and took on challenges calmly, showing their excellent professional quality and the demeanor of the media teachers. In the end, the college won five first prizes, of which four teams ranked first in the first prize lists.

It is reported that this competition was sponsored by the Education Department of Hunan Province and lasted for 4 months. It is the most concerned and influential teacher teaching competition in the vocational education field in the province. The college has been adhered to the idea of "promoting teaching, research, construction and reform by competition", providing strong support to teachers to participate in various teaching competitions and achieving remarkable results. The college will continue to make efforts to strengthen the connotation construction of the faculty, and strive to improve the overall teaching level and the quality of talent cultivation.
