On the afternoon of July 21, the college held a cadre meeting. Zuo Qing, member of the Provincial Party Committee Education Working Committee, member of the Party Group and Deputy Director of the Education Department of Hunan Province, and Huang Xingliang, Head of the Organization Department of the Provincial Party Committee Education Working Committee, attended the meeting. He Zhanbing, Deputy Secretary of the college’ Party Committee and President, presided over the meeting. All college leaders, middle-level cadres, and teachers with associate titles and above attended the meeting.
At the meeting, Huang Xingliang read out the decision of the Provincial Party Committee on the adjustment of the college leadership: Comrade Yuan Weikun retired and Comrade Li Sanfu served as Secretary of the college Party committee.
Zuo Qing delivered a speech and spoke highly of Comrade Yuan Weikun's significant contribution to the construction and development of the college during his more than 20 years of work. She pointed out that this personnel adjustment was a decision made by the Provincial Party Committee after comprehensive consideration and careful research. It is necessary to support the work of the new leadership with practical actions from an overall perspective, to live up to the trust of the Party organization and the ardent expectations of all faculty and staff, and to bring the college a promising future.
In the speech, Yuan Weikun recalled his working experience in the college for more than 20 years with affection, and wished the college Party committee leadership team with Li Sanfu as the monitor to unite and lead all the cadres and the masses to build a better college.
Li Sanfu stated that he resolutely obeyed the decision of the Party organization to take this glorious mission and broader responsibility. Under the leadership of the superior Party Committee, on the solid foundation laid by the previous leadership groups, and relying on the collective wisdom of the Party committee leaders and the strength of all faculty members, we must work together and forge ahead to continuously create a good political ecology with a clean and upright atmosphere, contributing to the high-quality development of the college.
He Zhanbing said that he resolutely supported the decision of the Party organization and extended his warm welcome and congratulations to Li Sanfu for his appointment to the college. Under the leadership of the superior Party committee, the college would make concerted efforts to focus on the development of connotation, characteristics, innovation and the new goal of transforming from a vocational college into a regular university, give full play to the college’s advantages in school running, and welcome the convening of the 20th National Congress of CPC with new achievements and responsibilities.
