From July 2 to July 15, the Hunan Mass Media Vocational and Technical College Detachment (hereinafter referred to as the "volunteer service team") of the Hunan Provincial Cultural and Tourism Volunteer Service Corps carried out "sowing the seeds of art- educating and cultivating students with culture" rural art support education activity "in Muxikou Village, Jiangnan Town, Anhua County, Hunan Province.
During the activity, the team members went to the village and entered the household to know about the needs of the village and the villagers, recording the great changes in the mountain village with the camera, and telling the touching stories of the village assistance and rural revitalization. They used art to light up the fields in the countryside by establishing the Light up Dreams photography training class and Sing out Dreams children's choir. The team cared for left-behind children's artistic dreams, sow seeds in their hearts to harvest their hopes. To entertain the elderly and help the disabled, the volunteers taught them square dance, and held the training class on the application of intelligent technology for the elderly, making the people benefited from culture while warming their hearts.
The cultural tourism volunteer service has achieved fruitful results. The square dances "Without the Communist Party, there would be no new China", "I Have a Dream" and other programs jointly performed by the volunteer service team and the villagers were played on the Anhua County Radio and Television Station.
Volunteer Zhao Yuetong said: "We will continue to carry forward and inherit the volunteer spirit of 'dedication, friendship, mutual assistance, and progress', and go to the places where the masses need it most to improve our knowledge and abilities, using youth and righteous ardour to sow the seeds of art and water them to grow the flower of hope."
The purpose of this volunteer education activity is to guide young students to receive education and develop their competence in a social practice class, so that they can use their professional hard power and cultural soft power to boost the rural revitalization in coherence, momentum and vitality. It was highly affirmed by Hunan Provincial Department of Culture and Tourism and the working team of Hunan Radio and Television Station in Muxikou Village.
