On May 31, the college grandly held the Summary and Commendation Meeting of the 2022 “Construction Month on Style of Study” Activity and “We are Young and Moving Forward to the Future together” Advanced Deeds Report Meeting, in the purpose to commend advanced model students during the activities and the period of closed-loop management of the college, and publicize the dream-chasing stories of the students. He Zhanbing, Xu Jingxue, and Lei Junlin, leaders of the college, attended the meeting, as well as the directors of the Student Affairs Division, the secretaries of the general Party branches of secondary schools, student affairs officers and more than 100 student representatives.
The conference kicked off with the solemn national anthem. Vice President Xu Jingxue read out the notice on the Results of the activities to "Welcome the 20th National Congress of the CPC and Forge ahead to a New Journey under the Leadership of the Party". Vice President Lei Junlin declared the "Notice on Commending advanced individual under the closed-loop management during the epidemic". Awards were presented to the winning representatives of the first "HNMMC Upwards and Virtuous Youth".
He Zhanbing delivered a speech and led everyone to learn the spirit of General Secretary Xi Jinping's important speech at the celebration of the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Chinese Communist Youth League, and on behalf of the Party committee and administration of the college, extended congratulations to the award-winning students. He hoped that all students should keep in mind Xi Jinping's exhortation, aspire to national rejuvenation, and strive to be firm believers, vigorous communicators, and model practitioners of the core socialist values. He hoped that the Student Union would effectively enhance its leadership, organization and service capabilities, and make concerted effort to lead the students contributing to the improvement of the school running level.
The activities has created a dense atmosphere of learning from the advanced and models, emulating those better than themselves, and living upward with kindness in the entire college. Wang Yang and other 20 students were awarded the first "HNMMC Upwards and Virtuous Youth". Wang Yaling and other 100 students received the honorary titles of "Learning Talent", "Scholarly Talent" and "Sports Talent". 13 works were selected and gained prizes in the "Learn New Ideas and Be a Good Successor" Essay Activity. At the meeting, 178 "advanced individuals in epidemic prevention and control" were commended. They devoted themselves to the campus epidemic prevention and control work during the closed-loop management of the college, and went to the front line to carry out publicity and guidance, information registration, material distribution, holding post on duty, order maintenance, disinfection and sterilization, etc. They are the advanced examples of daring to dedicate and take responsibilities among young students in the college.
"Today's HNMMC students, tomorrow's pillars of the country...", in the high-spirited school anthem, the summary and commendation conference came to an end. Afterwards, 5 students, including Chen Ruping, Pan Chenyu, Qing Peiming, Li Chang, and Jiang Yanpin, winners of the first "HNMMC Upwards and Virtuous Youth" shared their stories of chasing dreams, calling on everyone to grow into good young people in the new era with ideals, daring to take responsibilities, ability to endure hardship, and willingness to work hard.
