May 12 is the 14th National Disaster Prevention and Mitigation Day. In order to raise the awareness of teachers and students' disaster risk prevention, master the correct escape skills and enhance emergency handling ability, the college held a fire safety training on "Reducing disaster risk and guarding a beautiful home" in the afternoon of May 10.
This training was conducted in a combination of "online + offline". The lecturer, as an instructor of the public security fire brigade, combined with campus cases, gave an in-depth talk on the duties of fire safety, fire safety management, fire fighting facilities and equipment, evacuation and escape methods, etc., and demonstrated the use of fire extinguishers, water hoses, water guns, gas masks and other equipments.
After the training, the security department also organized participants to conduct evacuation and use fire extinguishers.
