In order to enhance the college's emergency response capability for epidemic prevention and control, improve the emergency coordination mechanism with local epidemic prevention and control institutions, the college started to make a good preparation in epidemic prevention and control in the spring semester to ensure that students return to a safe and stable campus. On the afternoon of February 18, the college held an emergency response drill for students returning to school for epidemic prevention and control. Xie Jingwei, Vice President of HNMMC, in charge of epidemic prevention and control, all members of the special prevention and control team, secretaries of the general Party branch of the secondary schools, the staff for students affairs, the staff of the Student Affairs Divison, the Logistics Division and the property company participated in the drill.
At 4:30 pm, the emergency drill started. All the participants immediately entered the actual combat state, and simulated the emergency response process when discovering teachers and students with abnormal body temperature and suspected symptoms in the scenario of "students returning to school for registration". The drill lasted for more than an hour. The emergency response process was interlinked, simple and efficient. The drill departments and the personnel in each post had a clear division of work, full implementation of responsibilities, quick response, and tacit cooperation, which contributed to a good effect of actual combat, improving the prevention and control emergency capabilities, and achieving the expected goal.
Vice President Xie Jingwei, the commander-in-chief of the emergency drill for epidemic prevention and control, asked all departments and relevant responsible persons to attach great importance to this work and put the health of teachers and students first, further sorting out and analyzing the weak links in the drill. Great efforts should be made to rectify the weakness comprehensively and timely to ensure that various prevention and control measures are scientific and effective, and that students return to school in a safe, stable and orderly manner.
Zhang Shuiying and Tang Yunxia, experts in prevention and control of Changsha County Center for Disease Control and Prevention, were invited to provide on-site guidance for the drill. Prevention and control experts commented on the drill and provided professional training on epidemic prevention and control to the participants.
