On the morning of January 13, HNMMC signed a strategic cooperation agreement with Hunan Daily, committing to the in-depth integration of production and education, the innovative development of college-enterprise cooperation system and mechanism, and the construction of a new highland for media vocational education. This is another major achievement of the college in exploring the reform of media vocational education after establishing strategic cooperative relations with Hunan Radio and Television Station, Malanshan Video Cultural and Creative Park, and other leading media enterprises (parks) in the province.
Xia Zhilun, Head of the Secretary Group of the Education Work Leading Group and Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Education Work Committee in charge of routine work, the Secretary of Leading Party Group and Director of the Education Department of Hunan Province, attended the signing ceremony and delivered a speech. Yuan Weikun, Secretary of the Party committee of HNMMC, and Jiang Xiejun, Secretary of the Party group and President of Hunan Daily made speeches respectively. The signing ceremony was presided over by Zou Jihong, Deputy Secretary of the Leading Party Group and Editor-in-Chief of Hunan Daily. Luo Guixiang, a member of the Education Working Committee of the Provincial Party Committee and member of the Leading Party Group of the Education Department of Hunan Province, and Wang Zhihong, a member of the Leading Party Group and Deputy Editor-in-Chief of Hunan Daily, attended the event. Xie Jingwei, member of the Party Committee and Vice President of the college, and Wu Wenhai, member of the Leading Party Group, Social Affairs Committee and Deputy Editor-in-Chief of Hunan Daily, signed the contract on behalf of both parties.
After the signing of the strategic cooperation agreement, HNMMC and Hunan Daily would deepen the content of cooperation and expand the fields of cooperation, especially to explore the establishment of secondary schools of mixed ownership with a dual school-enterprise model, innovating the talent training model for media professionals in the new era. The construction of mixed-ownership secondary schools will fully implement the spirit of the National Vocational Education Reform Implementation Plan, in accordance with the national vocational education policy, combined with foreign vocational education experience. It is oriented to meet the development needs of the media industry, comprehensively enhances the vitality of the schooling and improves the schooling environment, deepening the integration of production and education, and promoting talent training so as to form a brand case of in-depth integration of production and education. The two parties will focus on the construction of the platform carrier for the integration of production and education and aim to realize the co-construction and sharing of teachers and the joint development of courses by building a national demonstration mobile practice station for journalism and communication professionals and enterprises, and a demonstration training base for journalism and communication professionals in Hunan, and jointly formulating specifications for the construction of convergence media centers in colleges and universities. Great efforts should be made to create a high-level production-education vocational education training base that integrates practical teaching, social training, and industry-standard research and development, building a profession on the industrial chain and innovation chain to open up a new pattern of the production-education integration and school-enterprise cooperation.
Xia Zhilun attended the ceremony and emphasized that this strategic cooperation focused on the construction of education and media, planning to strengthen the all-round cooperation of education media, which possessed huge space and broad prospects. Both parties should work together to build a new pattern of mutual integration, intercommunication, and coordinated development, and jointly create a good atmosphere in which the whole community attaches importance to education, so as to fully implement the strategic positioning of “Three Highlands and Four New Missions” to demonstrate the responsibility of education and devote strength of media.
At the signing ceremony, Yuan Weikun said that the cooperation between Hunan Daily and the college is a concrete manifestation of the spirit of the "National Vocational Education Reform Implementation Plan", which marks the college's crucial step in the school-enterprise cooperation in resource sharing, and complementary advantage, transforming the traditional school-enterprise cooperation to the multi-dimensional and in-depth integration and development of talent training, teacher co-construction, curriculum development, and employee training. Through the complementary advantage, resource sharing and collaborative innovation, the two parties will undoubtedly improve the quality of talent training and the level of the college serving the development of the media and cultural industries in Hunan and even the whole country, and enhance social service capabilities, highlighting the leading role of radiation demonstration.
In the ceremony, Education Department of Hunan province signed a strategic cooperation agreement with Hunan Daily. The two parties would focus on education news publicity, education convergence media construction, and in-depth promotion of all-round cooperation in education media to enhance the power of communication, guiding, influence and credibility.
