At the beginning of the new year, Yuan Weikun, Secretary of the Party Committee of HNMMC, led all members of the Party committee and administrative leadership team to carry out work research and visit to Xinqiao Village in Longshan County. Shi Rongfen, Deputy Secretary of the Longshan County Party Committee of the Communist Party of China and Governor of Longshan County, Li Xinsong, Deputy Secretary of the county Party committee, and Tan Bisong, member of the Standing Committee and Office Director of the County Party Committee, conducted research and survey accompanied by relevant comrades from the County Rural Revitalization Bureau and Xinglong Street.
On January 5th, once Yuan Weikun and his entourage arrived in Xinqiao Village, they went to visit the old Party members and villagers in the family, sitting with them on low stools beside braziers, concerning about their life and production situation, and presenting supplies and New Year wishes to them. Yuan Weikun pointed out that the cadres stationed in the village should pay a visit to the villagers more often to know about their thoughts and demands, and help them to solve practical problems and difficulties.
In the village hall, the Party and Administrative Leadership team of HNMMC held a symposium with the Longshan County Party Committee and Government, the Xinqiao Village Party branch and Village Committee, as well as the college's work team stationed in the village. Secretary Yuan listened to the special report of Comrade He Fasheng, the first secretary and captain of the college's rural revitalization and assistance team in Xinqiao Village, and requested the working team to effectively consolidate the achievements of expanding poverty alleviation to realize rural revitalization. The work team should adjust measures to local conditions of the village, make overall planning, and advance coordinately, keeping a definite object in view and acting appropriately to the situation. Effective efforts must be made to explore a model to develop the village-level collective economy, achieve sustainable development with industrial support, enhance the "blood-making" function by stimulating inner vitality, and strive to expand the depth and breadth of rural revitalization.
On behalf of the county Party Committee and the County Government, Shi Rongfen, expressed her gratitude to the college for helping the rural revitalization of Xinqiao Village. She hoped that the college would deepen the model of Party-Led rural governance, encourage villagers to participate in rural revitalization proactively, and expected amd strengthen the rural cultural tourism industry and special industries, effectively improve the village’s collective economic income, and creat a new situation of rural revitalization.
On January 6, Secretary Yuan Weikun and his entourage came to the Shigao Campus of the First Vocational Secondary School of Longshan County for investigation. At the symposium, President Tian Peng expressed his gratitude for the arrival of Yuan Weikun and his entourage, and introduced the specific situation of school-running and talent training in the school. The two sides had an in-depth discussions on topics such as professional construction, teacher training, and student cultivation.
The college organized relevant personnel from the Personnel Divison, the Division of Publicity and United Front Work and other divisions to participate in this research.
