On the morning of September 5th, the college held the meeting for the second semester of 2021, attended by all middle-level and above cadres. The meeting was presided over by Liu Guoqing, Deputy Secretary of the Party committee. President Ma Yujun assigned work for the new semester, and Yuan Weikun, Secretary of the Party Committee, delivered a speech.
"The college's education and teaching cause is remarkable and fruitful." said by Ma Yujun in his review and summary on the work in the first half of the year, affirming the efforts and results of the whole college. President Ma assigned work tasks for the new semester, emphasizing the key points to accelerate the college’s Party and administrative work and ten major issues. We must focus on studying and implementing the spirit of General Secretary Xi Jinping’s important speech on July 1, improving the normalization of epidemic prevention and control work mechanisms, and making every effort to promote the comprehensive reform of "Three-aspects Education". Intensive efforts must be made to promote the merger and transfer work with independent colleges, diligently prepare for vocational skills competition, conduct registration of new students in an orderly manner, continue to deepen the construction of teachers’ professional ethics, ensure the building of the Party work style and clean governance, and make overall arrangements for Teacher's Day activity.
"We must work hard with a down-to-earth spirit, take the initiative to produce practical results, and complete the annual work tasks with high quality." In Yuan’s speech, he demanded that leadership cadres should develop a work habit of "implementation", conducting field investigation and commanding at the front line. They must exercise their character, work style, and ability, by setting a good example in the team to form the “leading goose effect”. “Implementation” requires us to focus on the major task, promote the “College merger and transfer work” and “Party’s history education”, and steadily facilitate the key points of the Party and administrative work and ten major issues.“Implementation” must strengthen work innovation, apply innovative thinking, methods, and systems to solve new problems, seize new opportunities, and create a new situation. “Implementation” demand us to reinforce work responsibilities and fully implement the "list system + responsibility system" by making lists and charts, and clarifying timetables, assignment book, and roadmap. We must strengthen work supervision to prevent "implementation" from becoming merely an "imagination."
