HNMMC Achieved Good Results in the Hunan Trial of the 13th National College&University Student Advertising Art Contest

Recently, the 2021 Hunan Provincial College&University Student Advertising Art Contest and the Hunan Trial of 13th National College&University Student Advertising Art Contest came to an end. Led by the School of Visual Art and co-organized by the Academic Affairs Division, the School of Management, the School of Journalism and Communication, HNMMC selected 140 entries from more than 300 entries and gained 3 first prizes, 12 second prizes, 20 third prizes, and 10 short listed works. The 45 winning and shortlisted works have been recommended to enter the national competition and are expected to achieve excellent results in the national competition.

The competition is sponsored by the Department of Higher Education of the Ministry of Education, organized by the Journalism Teaching Steering Committee of the Ministry of Education, and co-organized by Communication University of China and the Specialized Committee for Advertising Education of the Chinese Higher Education Association. It is an national contest for college&university students in liberal arts, approved by authoritative organizations, with “creativity” as the core concept and "innovation" as the education goal. The competition aims to improve college&university students innovative spirit and practical ability, stimulate their creative inspiration, and accelerate the reform of the talent cultivation model of journalism and communication, advertising, and art education in colleges&universities. Meanwhile, it plays an important role in innovating curriculum setting, teaching content and methods and greatly improving students practical and planning abilities and comprehensive capabilities.
