On the evening of July 8, a major symphonic epic suite of songs An Ode in Heart premiered in Changsha Concert Hall.
The whole work reproduces the development story and the intention to put people first in the glorious history of the Chinese Communist Party in a hundred years with grand momentum, affectionate singing, full passion and various forms.
The suite of songs was written by Tan Zhongchi and composed by Yang Tianjie. Led by Li Bing, Dean of the School of Film and Television Arts, a recitation performance was presented by teachers Yi Pei, Pan Danfen, and Yang Jingxian, and students Cao Sai, Wang Mengmeng, Zou Shengwen, Guo Anqi, and Wen Shuozhe. In the packed theater, the audience were deeply moved by the wonderful performances of the actors.
The teachers and students managed to overcome the difficulties of tight time and heavy tasks, and presented a brilliant work on the stage. This special CPC history education activity has given them a spiritual cultivation. Through careful rehearsal and affectionate performances, they have improved the level of recitation from the inside to the outside.
At the end of the performance, all of the people sang Without the Communist Party there would be no new China, and the applause lasted for a long time in the theater.
The performance was sponsored by the Hunan Provincial Federation of Literary and Art Circles, the Publicity Department of the CPC Changsha Municipal Committee, and Hunan Normal University, and was co-organized by Changsha Municipal Bureau of Culture, Tourism, Radio, Film and Television, Changsha Evening News, and the School of Film and Television Art of HNMMC.
The show was put on a live broadcast by the Tiktok account and the video account of Changsha Fabu, APP, video account and tiktok account of Xingchen Toutiao, Xingchen Quanquan APP, and other platforms.
