On the afternoon of July 9, the 7th "Internet +" Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition of HNMMC was held. Vice president Lei Junlin attended the competition and gave wonderful comments on the project. In this competition, Mr. Zhang Xinglin, Deputy General Manager of Sany Mass Innovation Incubator company, was invited to serve as the expert judge from outside the school, with the principals of the Admissions and Employment Guidance Division, the Student Affairs Division, the Scientific Research Division, the School-Enterprise Cooperation Division and the Entrepreneurship Teaching and Research Division as the expert judges of the college. Nearly 100 contestants, instructors and the teachers from other school participated in this event.
This college-level competition attracted more than 580 entries submitted by over 2,200 students. Through the preliminary competition in secondary schools and the online evaluation of experts in and out of the college, 13 project teams entered the finals.
The competition was divided into "Youth Dream Building Revolutionary Journey" track and vocational education track. Each team elaborated on the market research, advantages, operation mode, project development status and effectiveness, as well as follow-up development of the project. After reviewed the projects in terms of the timeliness, innovation, and sustainability, the judges gave marks and put forward suggestions. In the end, some projects won various awards of the school competition and were shortlisted for the semi-finals of the 7th Hunan Provincial the "CCB Cup" "Internet +" Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition for University Students as candidate projects. Three projects of the School of Management, including the "Back to the Farm Life Smart Service Platform" won the first prize of the "Youth Dream Building Revolutionary Journey" track, and seven projects of the School of Management, including "Live Streaming E-commerce New Farmers Assistance Project" won the first prize of the vocational education track .
Zhang Xinglin, an review expert, commented on this event. He gave a high evaluation of the innovative and entrepreneurial projects in the competition and suggested that the contestants should pay attention to the commercial logic of the project and product, discover the value of the market, and strengthen the analysis and application of big data to better prepare and polish innovative and entrepreneurial projects in a down-to-earth manner. At the same time, we must clarify our own technical points and intellectual property rights, and accurately find supporting materials.
The 7th "Internet +" Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition for College Students was held to further stimulates the entrepreneurial enthusiasm of students, and also benefit students with entrepreneurial aspirations by building a platform that leads to success. Meanwhile, the college expected that participating in the provincial competition would be a good opportunity to further learn from other colleges and universities so as to continuously improve the level of innovation and entrepreneurship in HNMMC, and better provide assistance and guidance for students with entrepreneurial dreams.
