"Hello, please go through the pedestrian bridge", "Hello, it's a red light now, please wait." Recently, the civilized volunteers of HNMMC students in a red cap and red jacket, holding a little red flag became a youthful and beautiful landscape on the streets in Changsha County Road.
It is reported that since mid-May, the Youth League Committee of HNMMC has organized student volunteers to stand guard to conduct civilized persuasion activities at the intersection of Changsha County's urban area to facilitate to the civilization progress of Changsha County.
The students carried out civilized persuasion volunteer services at many major traffic intersections near the college during traffic peak periods in the morning and afternoon. During the activity, young volunteers guided pedestrians to obey traffic rules at intersections with crowds of people and vehicles, persuaded people with uncivilized behaviors, such as disobeying traffic lights, driving non-motorized vehicles without wearing helmets, crossing the road without taking zebra markings, run red lights, and going in the wrong direction on the road. They reminded pedestrians of increasing their awareness of traffic safety, abandon bad traffic habits, and helping to maintain traffic order.
This activity contributed to raise the public’s awareness of traffic safety, keep roads smooth and ensure the public’s safe travel, demonstrating the good spirits of the college’s league cadres and college student volunteers. All students expressed that they would take the lead in observing traffic rules and continue to devote themselves to building Changsha County as a national civilized county.
