On the morning of September 10, the college held Teacher Representatives Symposium of the 36th Teacher's Day. All the leaders of HNMMC, representatives of the directors of teaching and research sections, teacher representatives and counselors of the secondary schools (teaching department) attended the meeting. The symposium was presided over by Liu Guoqing, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of HNMMC.  

At the meeting, teachers and representatives had a free discussion and gave suggestions on how to promote the development of the college’s connotation, implement the student-centered concept, build campus culture, reinforce college- enterprise cooperation, improve professional quality and practical teaching levels, serve regional education development, and enhance the social influence of the college. At the same time, the teacher representatives also expressed their gratitude to the college for its care and love for the faculty and staff, which gave everyone a sense of belonging, satisfaction and happiness in their work.

President Ma Yujun expressed thanks to the teachers present for their love and concern for the college, and wished all teachers a happy holiday. Ma pointed out that the teachers in HNMMC have excellent moral standards and professional ethics, and hoped that all teachers in the college would strive to be good teachers of the "Four Haves" and "Four Guides". The college must carefully listen to the opinions and suggestions of teachers' representatives and come up with solutions and put them into practice.

Party Secretary Yuan Weikun showed gratitude to all the teachers for their hard work and their great contributions to the construction and development of the college. After listening to the discussions and exchanges of the teachers participating in the conference, he was very pleased and put forward five requirements to all teachers: To be politically minded, to be of strict teachers ethics, to be innovative, to abide by the rules, and to be dedicated to the construction.
