Ms Hus class is very interesting. She often joked with us. We also laughed and called her an unknown anchor..., Zhang Ping from class 1801 of Advertising Design and Production commented on Ms Hu. Ms Hu is a Msin the specialty of Advertising Design and Production in HNMMC. MsHu Rong has been giving an online class of Graphic Creativity since January 2019. 1. Implementing the "three hearts" education, not forgetting original intention to impart knowledge and educate students

A teacher's job is to impart knowledge and educate students. The latter is more important. Ms. Hu has worked as a counselor for nearly ten years before serving as a professional teacher. From her rich experience in students management, she has formed a "three hearts" educational idea of heart of love, heart of patience, and heart of responsibility". Love is the origin. The fruits of love can only be harvested by loving students without reservation. Patience is the guarantee. Difficult problems can always be solved with great patience. Responsibility is the key. With a firm sense of responsibility, one can complete the mission of education. In the online course during the epidemic, Ms. Hu adhered to the "three hearts" educational idea, making friends with students and treating them like families. During the class, Ms. Hu used a variety of teaching methods to invigorate the classroom atmosphere and stimulate the enthusiasm of the students. After the class, she showed loving care for the students and made friends with them. It is because of the unrequited dedication of Ms Hu that she was truly loved by her students, who kindly called her "Sister Rong". Besides, the online course of Graphic Creativity was widely praised by teachers and students.

2. Starting from the students, realizing the flipped "cloud" classroom

During the epidemic, how to ensure the effect of online teaching became a stumbling block for the Graphic Creativity course. Ms Hu designed an online questionnaire, including learning foundation, learning interest, learning difficulties, etc.. After collecting, sorting and repeated discussions, she decided to adopt the online learning model of "before class + during class + after class", realizing the online flipped classroom. As for self-preparation before class, the Msassigns learning tasks and students study the videos and PPTs by themselves, completing the discussions and chapter tests and other tasks. During the class, the Mscombines the study situation on the study app and answers students questions on the key points and difficulties that students encountered during self-study. The key and difficult questions encountered by students will be answered and solved. After class, each chapter has an extended reading part, through which students can expand freely according to their own learning situation and consolidate the knowledge they have learned. Through the implementation of online flipped classroom, a significant improvement could be found in students learning effects and efficiency, as well as their comprehensive performance.

3. Designing the "going to tradition" section, and thoroughly implementing the curriculum for ideology and politics

In September 2019, the college-level key project of the teaching, research and educational reform declared by Ms. Hu was approved, with the subject of "Research on the Construction Path of "Curriculum for Ideology and Politics" in the Higher Vocational Specialty of Advertising Design in the New Era". Ms. Hu has always been studying how to better integrate ideological and political elements into specialty courses in a way to moisten things silently. The "going to tradition" section of this online course was based on the "curriculum for ideology and politics" model, covering the formation, development, category, and application of traditional Chinese graphics. It ran through each topic of the course, allowing students to have an in-depth understanding of traditional Chinese graphics while learning the course. Through the study of traditional Chinese graphics, students enriched the knowledge of the Chinese nation’s outstanding traditional culture, strengthened national self-confidence, and fully understood the dialectical unity relationship between tradition and innovation. In this way, it can better help students understanding of modern design moving to tradition and then to innovation again, and will eventually bring modern design with traditional Chinese elements to the world and the future.
