Optimizing the Path to Cultivate “Golden Course”, Presenting Excellence in Cloud Classroom

Since the anti-epidemic war, the School of Visual Art, in the face of the teaching requirements of special period, cultivates “Golden Courses” through online courses ahead of the layout, to ensure the teaching effect of “cloud classroom” by taking multi-faceted measures, making up "media & design" characteristics and highlighting the new blended teaching form online and offline of “Content Be King & Form Be Diverse”. Many excellent cloud classrooms have been created, which are favored by 41,237 teachers and students from 851 universities nationwide, bringing special temperature to higher vocational education during the epidemic period.

Act actively to ensure full coverage of online teaching

First, deploy ahead and clarify goals. On receiving the notice of school extension, Shen Jianfei, dean of the School of Visual Art, has organized related responsible persons to have the video conference,on which the Teaching and Working Plan of the School of Visual Art during the Period of Extended School was made and the institute teaching aim for optimizing the path to cultivate “Golden Courses”and build new teaching form online and offline in special period.

Second, adopt tiered policies to promote orderly progress. Nine professional teaching and research sections of the School took quick action for online teaching plan formulation, discussed positively relying on communication groups of the professional team, curriculum and teaching team, and opened up the provincial master space and cloud classroom of provincial online courses. Leading by eight courses of “virtual reality", a complete coverage of online teaching courses was realized.

Third, strengthen linkage and coordinate education. Teaching affairs and academic work are closely coordinated, and the "one-to-one" teaching method is implemented for students who are unable to achieve online learning, giving full play to the advantages of collaborative education to ensure that no student falls behind. On April 7th, 88 courses in our College were fully implemented online, with 66 teachers and 25 external teachers participating. The online teaching rate reached 97.8%, covering 1700 students in 9 majors, and gradually radiated to the inside and outside of the province 41,237 students from 851 institutions.

Optimize the path and build a multi-dimensional online teaching model

One is to build an online learning model of "Xueyin Online (Superstar Platform) & N". With a diversified application as the framework, all teachers are organized to build courses based on Xueyin Online (superstar platform), and independently select Ding Talk, Tencent Classrooms and other live broadcast platforms to build a variety of "cloud" classrooms based on academic conditions and course content.

The second is to explore effective ways to integrate online and offline teaching. Mainly based on online live broadcast, project-driven, Q&A, inquiry, cutting-edge technology exploration and other methods are used to explore effective ways to integrate traditional teaching and online teaching mode, teaching effects are fed back in time to make up for the shortcomings of traditional teaching effectively.

The third is to deepen school-enterprise cooperation and actively innovate. Relying on the advantages of Hunan Broadcasting Media, excellent cases of online teaching are shared from time to time, media experts such as Mango TV and Golden Eagle Cartoon are invited to participate in online teaching seminars, young and middle-aged teachers are guided to develop special modules, competition-modules integration, commercial project-modules integration, etc. to promote teaching reform of modular curriculum .

Full participation in the war and multiple measures to implement the teaching effect

According to the principle of "teacher is the key, management is the guarantee, and students are the center", multiple measures are taken to implement the teaching effect.

First, carry out teacher training and strengthen communication and discussion. The college actively released various strategies and learning and training resources for online teaching, and invited senior information experts such as Professor Nie Zhe of the Shenzhen Vocational College to conduct online training for teachers, and carried out various online teaching forms to discuss, communicating the progress of classes, discussing teaching confusion, and sharing teaching experience.

Second, standardize the curriculum teaching standards and strengthen the teaching process. Each professional teaching and research department formulated "teaching strategies" for different majors, courses, and software, organized teaching previews, and controlled live broadcast classrooms. Through case-based teaching and "flip classroom" teaching methods, online guidance took no break and offline feedback has been improved accurately. Teachers fully rely on the platform big data to master the learning effect of students and ensure the quality of online teaching.

Third, establish a management and supervision mechanism. The three-pronged supervision and evaluation mechanism of "teaching affairs+students+supervision" has been constructed. Through daily online lesson plan reporting, live classroom spot checks, teaching situation checks, statistics of students attendance, supervision of online guidance, etc., real-time supervision and evaluation are realized to ensure the orderly operation of online teaching.

Fourth, guide students to learn offline actively. Active publicity and guidance, online attendance, and other methods are used to guide students to make personal learning arrangements during the epidemic period. The release of preview materials, live lectures, online interaction, enhanced practical training exercises and assessment and other channels are applied to guide students to order online learning.

Dedicated to create a "golden course" of online and offline mixed teaching

First, the integration of technology and learning, highlighting the characteristics. Online teaching makes teachers feel the convenience brought by information technology. For example, the "Multimedia Image Design" course hosted by Professor Shen Jianfei is guided by media capabilities, and has independently developed technologies such as split screen and board performance.
