In order to coordinate the epidemic prevention and control for students returning to the college, in the morning of May 7, HNMMC held an epidemic prevention and control knowledge training and a meeting of work arrangement for the college reopening. People attended at the meeting including the Party Committee Secretary Yuan Weikun, President Ma Yujun, leaderships of the college, the main person in charge of the departments and members of the special work team of the Office of Epidemic Prevention and Control participated in the meeting. President Ma Yujun presided over the meeting.
Party Committee Secretary Yuan Weikun summarized the epidemic prevention and control work at the early stage. The college firmly implemented the work plan of the Central Committee, Provincial Party Committee and Education and Work Committee of Provincial Committee, strengthening organizational leadership, improving prevention and control programs, organizing online teaching, and actively assisting the national epidemic prevention and control work. In the end, good results have been achieved in the epidemic prevention and control.
Yuan Weikun indicated that since the outbreak of the epidemic, the college Party Committee has attached great importance to it. After quick measures and strict control were taken in the early stage, good results have been achieved thanks to all members’ hard efforts, showing the spiritual quality of being fearless, competent and adept to overcome hardship. At present, the college is about to reopen, putting the epidemic prevention and control work at a critical stage. A huge and real test is in front of us. In the next stage of the epidemic prevention and control work, we still have a long way to go.
Yuan Weikun emphasized and put forward three requirements. First, we should put teachers and students' safety and physical health in the first with great attention and a high awareness. A good job needs to be done in the prevention of various epidemics before the spring semester, during and after returning to the college to ensure zero confirmed case in the epidemic war. The second is to consolidate responsibilities and make sure the implementation of the work. Leading cadres must command in the front line, all working agencies and departments must perform their duties diligently, and all teaching staff must actively participate and closely cooperate with the epidemic prevention and control work, shouldering the individual responsibility of the prevention and control work. The third is to coordinate the advancement of epidemic prevention and control work and career development so as to achieve both. With firm beliefs and a concerted effort, all teaching staff will overcome the difficulties caused by the epidemic and jointly promote the cause of the college to develop well and fast.
President Ma Yujun requested that the whole college should carefully study and implement the work plan of reopening school, with a highly responsible attitude to teachers and students' life and health to meet high standards and strict requirements. Great attention should be paid to the teaching work to realize “two perseverances” and advance the “six tasks”. We must improve the political position, take responsibility to the post and individual, strengthen department linkage, and work together to ensure safety, smoothness and orderliness of reopening the school.
Yang Huangjiang, director of the Student Affairs Department and the head of the Epidemic Prevention and Control Office, introduced the work plan for reopening the school and specially interpreted the off-peak registration for teachers and students, contingency plans, campus hygiene, ventilation and disinfection, canteen epidemic prevention and control, campus control and safety inspection, epidemic psychological protection, psychological crisis intervention and special supervision.
Doctor Jiang Xiuying from the college infirmary gave a lecture on scientific knowledge of the Covid-19, self-protection from the epidemic, and proper ways of disinfection.
