On December 24, the finals of the college's 11th Journalist Contest were held in the Star Theater of the Art Building.The college leadership Ma Yujun, Cheng Guizhen, Xu Jingxue and Lei Junlin attended the contest.
In the competition, 9 teams from the video group, the picture group and the new media group advanced to the finals. Two rounds of fierce competition were launched through news impromptu commentary and news simulated interviews. The contestants made full use of the professional knowledge and displayed the elegant demeanour of journalists, which won the waves of applause from audience and the unanimous affirmation from the judges. In the end, Yang Dejia, Song Wei, Liu Qirui and Liu Yuhan won the first prizes.
Vice President Lei Junlin addressed that the journalist contest has become the traditional brand of the college discipline competition. She hopes that the Journalist Contest will go out of the campus and become an influential competition for university students in the province and even the whole country.
The Journalist Contest was organized by the School of Journalism and Communication.
