On the morning of December 22, the closing ceremony of the 2020 Hunan Provincial Vocational Students Skills Competition was held in the Academic Hall of HNMMC. Zhou Qiong,the Director of the Personnel Division of the Hunan Provincial Radio and Television Bureau, Peng Fuqiang, the First Deputy Director Designated by the Provincial Government and the Vice President of Hunan Communication Polytechnic, Lei Junlin, the Vice President of HNMMC, leader of the event experts and chief referee attended the closing ceremony.
At the closing ceremony, the Vice President of HNMMC, Lei Junlin, summarized the organization of the competition at the college. She pointed out that this was the 14th consecutive year that the college has organized the Provincial Vocational Students Skill Competition. 402 contestants and 176 instructors from 44 vocational colleges participated in this competition, creating a new record in the numbers of contestants and its scale. To achieve a success in the competition, the college has set up a leadership group with the president as the director to comprehensively lead the organization, coordination and implementation of the entire competition, providing a strong guarantee for organization and facility.
Peng Fuqiang, on behalf of the Organizing Committee Office of the Hunan Provincial Vocational Students Skills Competition , spoke highly of the success of the competition and expressed warm congratulations to the contestants who achieved excellent results. He pointed out that this contest was a grand, frugal, wonderful, and successful competitive event. It was a major review of the professional skills of the students specializing in radio and television program production, animation design, and digital media technology applications and others in our province. It provided a high-quality platform for college teachers and students to exchange experiences and discover talents. He hopes that all contestants would consider this competition as a new starting point, striving to cultivate themselves into talents with excellent ideology and technology to make greater contributions to accelerate the development of Hunan's economy and society.
This competition produced 68 team awards and 40 individual awards. Event experts Prof. Cao Wanjun, Zhou Ping, and Song Lijun respectively made insightful comments on the contestants of the events like "Animation Production", "Mobile Convergence Media Application Technology" and "Micro Video Production", pointing out the direction for the participating colleges and contestants to improve their competition results.
