On August 9, the fifth session of the 18th Chinese Bridge-Chinese Proficiency Competition for Foreign College Students finals was held in HNMMC. As a senior cat-loving person, Lin Xia from Madagascar, searched across thousand years to find a man who had the same affections to cat, that is Lu You, a poet in Southern Song Dynasty. "The firewood of the brook makes the felt soft and warm, I want to stay at home with my cat." She quickly answered this poem, and shared interesting things with her pet.

In the session of "Upperclassman Taking You to See China", the upperclassman David led the contestants to Beijing, the capital of China. Through the camera, they enjoyed from Chinese traditional operas, covered bowl tea, and visited specialty stores, experiencing the charm of Chinese traditional culture.

In the end, Lin Xia from Madagascar and Jia Song from the United Kingdom gained the highest scores. In the following week, the top 15 contestants will encounter a more intense top 5 promotion qualifying competition. On August 14, the champions from 5 continents will be decided.
