On June 27th, the Awarding Ceremony of the 5th Public Service Advertising Competition for College Students in Hunan Province and the Opening Ceremony of the 6th Competition were held in HNMMC. Liu Jinneng, the Deputy Director of the Publicity Department of Hunan Provincial Party Committee and the Director of Hunan Provincial Civilization Office, Xiong Kewen, the Deputy Director of Hunan Provincial Civilization Office, Liu Shuhua, the Director of the Publicity Department of the Education work Committee in Hunan Provincial Party Committee, Zhang Zhihui, the Director of the Establishment and Guidance Department of the Hunan Provincial Civilization Office, and Li Linfang,the Deputy Director of the Publicity Department of Education work Committee in Hunan Provincial Party Committee were present in the event. Yuan Weikun, the Secretary of the Party Committee of HNMMC, and the Vice President Lei Junlin attended the event. The award ceremony was witnessed by representatives from over 20 award-winning colleges in Hunan.
Mrs. Liu Shuhua delivered a speech at the event. On behalf of the sponsors, she made a brief summary of the 5th Public Service Advertising Competition for College Students in Hunan Province, pointing out that the competition has achieved the expected goals. 1,145 public service advertisements from 57 colleges and universities competed in the competition. The quantity and quality of the works, characterized by wide coverage of colleges, high student participation and excellent work quality exceeded expectations. Mrs Liu Shuhua said that the upcoming 6th Competition will be based on the theme of My motherland and I to celebrate the 70th anniversary of the founding of New China. Moreover, some adjustments of the competition have been made: First, the competition will be more standardized, the contest will be included in the college discipline competition and the vocational students skills competition. Second, the period of creation will be more longer, the submission time will be postponed to the end of November. The Third is to increase the number and variety of works, from 30 to 40 in total, and add contest item INTERACTIVITY.
At the award ceremony, Xiong Kewen, Liu Shuhua, Yuan Weikun, Li Linfang, and Lei Junlin awarded the first prizes. After the ceremony, Mr.Liu Jinneng announced the official launch of the 6th Public Service Advertising Competition for College Students in Hunan Province.
It was reported that the 5th competition was sponsored by the Hunan Provincial Civilization Office, the Education work Committee in Hunan Provincial Party Committee, and Hunan Provincial Department of Education, organized by Hunan Mass Media Vocational and Technical College and co-organized by the Education Information Center of Hunan Provincial Department of Education.
