On June 13rd to 15th, 2019, the Third Session of the 5th Member Congress of Radio and Television Research Seminar in Hunan Universities and Colleges and the 2018 Annual Meeting were held in the Lecture Hall of Xiangnan College. The meeting witnessed the 2018 Awards Ceremony of Excellent Radio and TV Programs in Hunan Universities and Colleges. 10 videos made by the students in the School of Journalism and Communication were selected and won the prizes, among which Zhuo Yi and other two works won the first prize. 7 teachers' papers were awarded, among which Luo Qi and other teachers won the first, second and third prizes respectively. Professor Lao Guanghui, the Director of the Journalism and Communication School in HNMMC, delivered a lecture with the theme of Reflection on the Short Video Path of Press Publicity under the Background of 5G.
