Recently, the original puppet theater The Little Mermaid, directed by the teachers of the School of Film and Television Art, Xiao Kui and Fangceng Sijia , and performed by the school’s students, came to the stage of the Tianhan Experimental Theater in Changsha.
The original puppet theater The Little Mermaid was recomposed from the classic fairy tale The Little Mermaid. It combined with the values and spiritual needs of contemporary families by using familiar fairy tale characters and backgrounds to reflect environmental protection awareness, friendship, responsibility and love . The vivid performances of the mermaid princess, witch, prince, tiger, peacock, elf and other characters deeply attracted the audiences.
This performance was another successful cooperation between the college and the Culture Tourism Radio and Sports Bureau of Changsha County. The People’s Daily, Phoenix News, Netease News, Sina News, Today’s Headlines and other medium have reported the show. Since March of this year, the teachers and students have repeatedly walked out of the campus to serve the society, greatly enhancing the influence of the college at the advantage of the cooperation pattern between the college and the local governments.
