On March 14, the college held the international students’ orientation in the spring of 2019. 12 international students from Germany, Madagascar, Vietnam, Ukraine, and Ecuador gathered to start a new chapter in their academic career. Vice President Xie Jingwei attended the event.
During orientation, the teachers of the International Exchange Division presented the Chinese laws and regulations, as well as the disciplinary system of the college, and explained the Handbook for International Students of HNMMC to strengthen the legal and safety awareness of international students. The teachers of the School of International Communication explained the teaching management regulations to the students, helping them adapt to the learning environment as soon as possible, clarifying the learning objectives, and making study plans.
Vice President Xie Jingwei, on behalf of the college, expressed his warm welcome to the international students. He introduced the basic situation of the college, including international cooperation and exchanges, and the international promotion for Chinese. He also placed great expectations on international students, hoping them to enjoy from study, make achievements in the college, and become the messenger of the friendship between China and foreign countries to bridge the communication gap between Chinese and foreign civilizations.
