From November 8th to November 11th, more than 300 athletes from more than 20 hunan higher vocational colleges participated in the 1st Tennis Competition for deans in Shaoyang Vocational and Technical College, sponsored by Hunan Institute of Vocational Education and Adult Education and the Committee of Higher Vocational Education and Physical Education Major. The delegation was composed of teachers including Liu Guoqing, Fan Xiaojian, Hu Changchun, Lu Wenxiao, Cao Sheng, Tao Lei, Zhu Xiaojing, Luo Saiqing and Cai Zi. The delegation behaved bravely in the four-days competition with the quality of unite and calm. In the end, Liu Guoqing, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the College, won the fourth prize in the leaders’ singles; Fan Xiaocjian, a teacher from the School of Visual Arts, topped four in the men's singles; Tao Lei, a teacher of the school of International Communication, topped six in the women's singles and won the fifth prize in the mixed group match. The excellent achievements made by our table tennis team fully shows us the energy and spirit of the faculty. The success would be a sample for a leading of active and healthy atmosphere on campus, therefore, teachers’ union in the college would develop more physical education activities to cultivate both students and teachers physically and mentally.
