On November 2nd, Secretary Yuan Weikun talked with 8 students from different schools of the college in the new reception room, starting the activities for the Leaders’ Open Day officially.
Students including Guo Qing from Class 1605 of News Editing and Production Major; Yang Bin from Class 1603 of Art Design Major; Li Zhihui from Class 1601 of Media Planning Major; Liu Wenkang from Class 1801 of Drama, Film and Television Performances Major; Luo Cheng from Class 1602 of Application Technology of Digital Media, communicated with Secretary Yuan Weikun about advancing the guality of campus job fairs to provide more opportunities for students; paying more attention on the feedback of the graduates working condition; more support on the undergraduates’ self-employment; the availability of water equipment in the teaching building and the improvements on shower for a better living condition in winter.
Secretary Yuan Weikun took their suggestions and answered them in details, urging related departments to solve in time. For long-term matters, we will make out plans and specific arrangements to deal with the matters beyond the college’s jurisdiction, we will try our best to provide better atmosphere for living and studing in this college by active coordinate with other administrates and strong ability in execution.
Secretary Yuan Weikun hoped that more and more students can be involved in campus construction by suggesting in multiple ways such as Leaders’ Open Day, Leader Mail and feedback channels of different departments. Our relevant departments were required to improve the supervision mechanism in a further way and built a bright road for students to propose.
The Leaders’ Open Day, designed by our party committee and administration, aims to father develop the way of democracy and take suggestions comprehensively to solve the difficulties and problems of teachers and students. On every biweekly Friday afternoon in teaching weeks, one of the college leaders will be in duty for receptions take suggestions on college leaders from students and teachers, helping them to solve problems in working, studying and daily life. Generally, visitors will enjoy the priority by making appointment with us according to rules.
