On September 13th, Jiang Changzhong,the Secretary of the Party Committee of Hunan Provincial Department of Education, the Director of Hunan Provincial Department of Education and Secretary of Hunan Provincial Working Committee of Education, visited HNMMC for investigation. He listened to the work report of the college and made an investigation with some leaders of Hunan Provincial Department of Education including Liu Jing,the Director of the Administrative Office; Li Jiwu, the Director of the Personnel Division; Yu Zhisong,the Director of the Finance Construction Division and Yu Weiliang,the Director of the Vocational Education and Adult Education Division. Yuan Weikun,the Secretary of the HNMMC Party Committee,and Ma Yujun, the President of HNMMC and accompanied with Liu Guoqing, Jiang Minquan, He Zhanbing, Cheng Guizhen, Xu Jingxue, Lei Junlin and Xie Jingwei,attended the report and investigating meeting.
The President Ma Yujun hosted the meeting. He said that the development of the college has been highly concerned by the Hunan Provincial Working Committee of Education and the Hunan Provincial Department of Education and also expressed sincere gratitude to Director Jiang Changzhong and other leaders for their investigation and long-term support to the college. Yuan Weikun,the Secretary of the HNMMC Party Committee , introduced the construction and development of the college, emphasizing on the construction of Excellent College, Double First-class, characteristic specialty group,and the improvements on the abilityof the international exchange relying on Chinese Bridge and the work priorities of next stage.
After the report, Jiang Changzhong comprehensively appreciated the achievement of the college, especially, highly commented on the Chinese Bridge-Chinese Proficiency for Foreign College Students, which has been co-organized by the college for 11 years. Jiang Changzhong pointed out that Hunan Mass Media Vocational and Technical College is the Hunan Base for International Promotion of Chinese Language and Culture established by Hanban excluded 985 or 211 colleges. The excellent service and organization have been highly recognized by leaders and contestants. He said that the college should take its own advantages, consider its current development and meet the demands of the national strategy to strengthen the construction of national characteristic specialty group and enhance its influence. Jiang Changzhong also urged that the members of Party Committee and administration team of HNMMC should unite and lead faculties to make great efforts to the external environment and hardware facilities of the college, pay attention to the development of connotation construction, consolidate the foundation for development, upgrade the capability of the college, based on making improvement on faculty resources, quality of students and level of discipline.
Before the report, accompanied by the Secretary of the HNMMC Party Committee Yuan Weikun and the President Ma Yujun, Jiang Changzhong and other leaders checked the work for freshman in the second district of students’ apartments. After that, Jiang Changzhong and other leaders investigated the Omni-media Interactive Studio Hall and listened to the report of some works for example omni-media teaching .
