On September 17th, a delegation of 2018 Superior Managers of Mainstream Media Training Group from Latin American Countries, which is in number of 47 and sponsored by Ministry of Commerce of the people’s Republic of China, paid a visit to the college. They are mainly from Chile, Panama, El Salvador, Bolivia, Dominica, Cuba, Honduras and etc. Xie Jingwei, the Vice President of HNMMC, attended the symposium with related department leaders of the college.
During the symposium, the Vice President Xie Jingwei delivered a welcome speech on behalf of the college, involving the brief introduction of the college, the characteristic and advantages of the media majors, and the achievement of the international exchange and cooperation work. He finally expected that the cooperation in fields of broadcast, film and television or other international projects with Latin American countries will be strengthened in the future. Then, the delegation watched the collection of the 16th Chinese Bridge-Chinese Proficiency Competition for Foreign College Students.
After the symposium, the delegation visited the 1400㎡ studio, Program Producation Base of the Hunan Broadcasting System, the Omni-media Interactive Studio Hall, the TV station of HNMMC and the training room of the School of Journalism and Communication in the college. The abundant resources in media education , advanced internship training fields and facilities as well as excellent students’ practical design works were received highly comments from the delegation. They said that this journey was so impressive that the new innovation in the area of media vocational education will be a good reference for the development of their own countries’ media industry.
