The Opening Ceremony of 2018 International Students in HNMMC was Held Successfully

In the afternoon of September 14th, the opening ceremony of the 2018 international students was held in HNMMC. The President Ma Yujun and Vice President Xie Jingwei were present at the opening ceremony. The directors of International Exchange Division, the School of International Communication, the Party Committee (Administrative) Office, the Student Affairs Office (Department) and the Academic Affairs Office; representatives of teachers and students; ten international students in 2018 and family members from Germany, Ukraine and Madagascar attended the opening ceremony. This opening ceremony was hosted by Vice President Xie Jingwei.

The President Ma Yujun delivered a speech in ceremony to express his warm welcome to the arrival of international students of 2018. He pointed out that China is sharing the development opportunities with all over the world by One Belt and One Road initiative for a harmonious and prosperous life. The college will do its best to create a qualified learning and living enviroment for all international students. Meanwhile, President Ma Yujun made four suggestions to international students: try to adapt to the campus life; make full use of time to study hard; strengthen communication with local life and local people; master Chinese well to become an international messenger. International students were given students’ ID cards and college badges from him and were hoped to make contribution to the harmonious life between countries and the construction of human community of destiny.     

Aaron Moellhoff, the representative of 2018 international student, showed his strong interest in learning Chinese and Chinese culture and desired to strengthen the communication between countries. Peng Zhiping, the representative teacher of the School of International Communication, and Xiao Wenqi, the representative student of the No.1601 class of Business English from the School of International Communication, delivered their speeches in this opening ceremony.
