
On the afternoon of July 17th, the final of the 17th Chinese Bridge-Chinese Proficiency Competition for Foreign College Students was held in HNMMC, the Base for International Promotion of Chinese Language and Culture with a studio of 1400 ㎡. It ended with 15 finalists for the next Round. Xu Wei, the Party Member of the Education Department of Hunan Province and the Committee Member of Hunan Provincial Educational Work Committee; Yuan Weikun, the Secretary of the CPC HNMMC Committee; Ma Yujun, the President of HNMMC ; Teng Lianshuai, the Head of International Exchange Division of Confucius Institute Headquarters/Hanban; Peng Zhengqiu, Deputy County Mayor of the People’s Government of Changsha County and Yin Kaiyuan, Director of Hunan Eduvision Service presented in this competition and awarded those top 15 contestants.


According to the rules of the 17th Chinese Bridge-Chinese Proficiency Competition for Foreign College Students, the Top Fifteen Round on the afternoon of July 17th is the final competition among five continents. In the past four contests, 30 contestants showed themselves with great talents. Finally, 15 contestants including Lin Hao, Anron and Si Teng from the Oceania Group; Melena, Ding Jiaming and Duncan from the African Group; Ke Luhan, An Haoyu, Paul from the Americas Group; Ruslan, Jiang Mingsi and Qi Luxin from the European Group; Guan Huimin, Tao Xinfu and Gu Yige from the Asian Group won as the top 15 and entered into the next round. The rest 15 contestants were awarded the third prize of the the 17th Chinese Bridge-Chinese Proficiency Competition for Foreign College Students and scholarships for one term by the Confucius Institute Headquarters/Hanban.

The top 15 contestants of the 17th Chinese Bridge-Chinese Proficiency Competition for Foreign College Students will be trained by HNMMC language teachers for ten days to prepare for the Top Five Round on July 27th.
