On the morning of June 5th, the 2018 Graduation Ceremony of Hunan Mass Media Vocational and Technical College (HNMMC) was held in the Academic Report Hall of the library. The college leaders including Yuan Weikun, Ma Yujun, Liu Guoqing, Jiang Minquan, He Zhanbing, Cheng Guizhen, Xu Jingxue, Lei Junlin and Xie Jingwei were invited to the graduation ceremony, and heads of the various departments, the Deans of the secretaries of General Party Brauchs of second-level colleges, teacher representatives, graduate representatives, and student representatives all attended the ceremony. The ceremony was hosted by Xu Jingxue, the vice-president.
Yuan Weikun, Secretary of the Party committee, and other college leaders conferred diploma on graduates.
Before the ceremony began, all the participants watched the self-produced video by the 2018 graduates “The three years that we have walked through together.” Yuan Weikun, Secretary of the Party committee, Ma Yujun, the President of the College, and Deans of the second-level colleges expressed their ardent expectation on the graduates in the video. The ceremony opened in the majestic national anthem.

Vice-president Lei Junlin read out the “Notification on Honoring the 2018 Outstanding Graduates of Hunan Mass Media Vocational and Technical College”. College leaders conferred honorary certificates to outstanding graduates and diploma to graduate representatives, and congratulated them.

Li Ruilin delivered a speech representing the 2018 graduates. He extended gratitudes to leaders and teachers. Besides, he remained committed to bringing new pride to the college. In the speech, Wang Lihua, representative of teachers of the college, the director of the Ideological and Political Department, stressed that no matter who, communicator or recipient, we should always adhere to media culture background and remain true to our commitment, and build and carry forward socialism with ideals, capabilities and responsibilities. Li Tiequan, alumni representative and 2008 graduate of the School of Journalism and Communication shared his work experience, expressed his gratitude toward the school and extended wishes for the juniors.

In his speech, the President Ma expressed his blessings and hopes for graduates. He hoped that all graduates would be ambitious while down-to-earth, and grateful for the future, grow with national development while engaging in our work with practical manners. He noted that no matter how far one may go, or wherever one is, he/she would always stay in our heart. It is welcome that graduates pay frequent visits to alma mater as alumni with successful exciting.
