In assessments of 2017 Summer Countryside Social Practice for Students in Province-administered Universities and Colleges conducted by Hunan Province-administered Mission Work Committee, Youth League Committee of Hunan Mass Media Vocational and Technical College won the title of “Advanced Unit”. The social service team of the School of Management and the social team send by the School of International Communication to Huanghua Town, Changsha County won the title of “Excellent Service Team”. 5 investigation reports selected by the Youth League Committee won “Excellent Investigation Report”.
Under the guidance of the Party Committee of Hunan Mass Media Vocational and Technical College and the Youth League Committee at the upper levels and the endeavor of the Youth League Committee, Publicity Department of the Party Committee and the Students Affairs Office of the college, 2017 Summer Countryside Social Practice for Students in the college themed at “Welcoming the 19th National People’s Congress of the Communist Party of China, Making New Achievements by Youths”. With rich contents and various forms, the social practice enabled students to further understand China’s national condition and sense people’s condition. They enhanced their abilities, tempered their will, won the acknowledgment of the masses and farmers, and received a good reputation in public.
