From October 30th to November 3rd, 2017 Hunan Taekwondo Competition for College Students, sponsored by the Education Department of Hunan Province, was held in the gym-stadium of Hunan Network Engineering Vocational College. 586 taekwondo athletes from 26 universities and colleges in Hunan participated in the competition, including Hunan University, Hunan Normal University, Hunan University of Science and Technology, Hunan University of Technology and Jishou University.
12 athletes from Hunan Mass Media Vocational and Technical College participated in the competition. Through fierce competition and with the spirit of tenacity, self-transcendence and persistence, they won 2 gold medals, 1 silver medal and 4 bronze medals.
