On July 12th, sponsored by the Information Office of Hunan Provincial People’s Government and undertook by Hunan Mass Media Vocational and Technical College and the World’s Sight of Hunan column of Hunan Satellite TV World, the 2nd New Hunan Micro-video (micro-film) Broadcasting Contest launched.
The contest now calls for works from the whole society to make full use of the advantages of micro-videos and micro-films. The contest converges with omnimedia, innovates international broadcasting and adopts an easily-accepted way and an easily-understood language to tell the story of Hunan and transmit the voice of Hunan to overseas viewers, elaborating a rich, beautiful and happy New Hunan from various angles.
This contest collects works from July 12th to September 15th, 2017. The preliminary evaluation lasts from September 15th to September 20th, 2017. Online voting lasts from September 21st to September 30th, 2017. The date for final evaluation is to be settled.
There will be one First Prize with 20,000 yuan, three Second Prizes with 8,000 yuan each, one Best Director Award with 8,000 yuan, one Best Screenwriter Award with 8,000 yuan, one Online Popularity Award with 8,000 yuan and four Best Organization Awards with 3,000 yuan each. Award-winning works will enjoy the priority to present on all major media including television media, network media and new media.
All works are free in form. The organizing committee encourages different forms of expression including documentary, drama, featured film, cartoon, public service video, and experimental short film. The contest welcomes participants and teams from film and TV production companies, traditional and new media companies, publicity
departments at all levels, departments of the National Public Security, Education, Medical Service, Postal Service, Civil Aviation, Transportation, and Railways, production institutions of industry film and television program, and universities and colleges to take part in this competition.
